Front door handle

• 1 - Door handle support
• 2 - Door lock
• 3 - Drive rod
• 4 - Bolt, 20Nm
• 5 — Lock cylinder cover
• 6 — Lock cylinder
• 7 — Door handle
• 8 — Drive lever
• 9 — Clamp holder
• 10 — Gate valve
• 11 — Door handle

Removing and installing the front and rear door handles are fundamentally no different.

Removal

1. Remove the door trim, refer to Sections Removal and installation the front door trim and Removal and installation the rear door trim.

2. Remove the door frame with the window lifter from the door, refer to Sections Removal and installation the front door window frame and Removal and installation the window lifter.

3. Remove the drive rod (3) from the clamp holder (9).

4. Insert a screwdriver from the inside through the door panel, tilt it in the direction of the arrow and release the latch (10) at the door handle (11).

5. Disconnect the door handle from the support and remove it from the door.

Installation

1. Install the door handle in place and secure it in the support.

2. Connect the drive rod (3) to the clamp (9), tilt the clamp 90° and fix it on the drive rod.



3. Install the door trim, refer to the relevant Section.
