Removal
1. Remove the tailgate trim, refer to subsection Removal and installation the tailgate trim.
2. Remove nuts –1– and bolts –3–. If there is a holder, remove it.
3. Slightly remove the handle strip –6– from the tailgate and disconnect the license plate light connector.
4. Remove the bar.
Installation
1. Insert the bar into the holes.
2. Install the holder –2– (if it exists) at the locking mechanism and tighten it with the outer bolt to the bar.
3. Connect the license plate light connector.
4. Secure the bar with bolts –3– and nuts –1–.
