Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
2. Disconnect the decorative strip (2) from the trim and remove it forward.
3. Remove 4 screws (3).
4. Manual window lift: Remove the window lift handle (5).
5. Insert a plastic wedge into the area of the clamps between the door panel and the trim and remove the trim from the door.
6. Slightly move the trim away from the door frame and disconnect the door drive cable, refer to Section Removal and installation the front door trim.
7. Disconnect the window lift switch connector (9).
8. Remove the trim from the door frame.
Installation
1. Before installation, check that the clamping nuts (8) and expansion nuts (7) are correctly positioned on the door frame.
2. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note that the hook (3) of the rod points upward.
3. Manual window lift: Reinstall the window lift handle.
4. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
Window lift handle
1. Insert a screwdriver between the cover (4) and the window lift handle.
2. Remove the cover from the window lift handle.
3. Unscrew the screw (6) and remove the handle.
Installation
1. Set the window lift handle to the 6 o'clock position (± 15°) with the window closed on the handle axis.
