2. Roll down the window completely and open the door.
3. Remove the door trim, refer to the relevant Section.
4. Disconnect the connector and pull the wires out of the door.
5. Push the cable cover (1) out of the door.
6. Ask an assistant to hold the door. Remove the screws securing the door hinges (2) at the bottom and top.
Warning: Illustration shows the lower hinge of the front door.
7. Remove the door and place it on a soft surface.
Installation
1. Install the door in place with the help of an assistant and screw in the hinge mounting screws without tightening them.
2. Loosen the door lock retainer, close the door and check the gap along the door sealing contour. If necessary, adjust the door, refer to the relevant Section.
3. Tighten the hinge mounting screws to torque 32Nm.
4. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
5. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
