Warning: The window lift motor can be removed and installed in any motor or glass position.
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the door trim, refer to the relevant Section.
3. Disconnect the window lifter control unit connector.
4. Unscrew 3 bolts (2) and remove the window lifter motor (1) from the door.

Installation
1. Install the electric motor on the threaded journals (3), screw in the bolts and tighten them to the specified torque 3.5 Nm. While doing this, make sure that you enter the door panel (arrows).
2. Connect the window regulator connector and install the door trim, refer to the corresponding Section.
3. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
Warning: Follow the instructions in Section Replacing the battery.
4. Set the electric motor to the basic position: Turn the ignition on and off again. Turn it on again and lift the glass all the way up. While doing this, hold the window lifter switch down for 2 seconds. The electric motor is now correctly set.
