1. Remove the door trim panel (Chapter 14).
2. Mark the exact position of the mounting plate relative to the door panel, then remove the mounting bolts, two at the front and two at the back (photo).
3. Unfasten the inner door handle and remove the mounting plate (photo).
4. Remove the retaining ring and remove the washer and block securing the window holder to the regulator (photo). Disconnect the window holder and lock it in the raised position.
5. Disconnect the regulator cable.
6. Unscrew the nuts or bolts and remove the regulator.
7. If necessary, remove the window glass from the door.
8. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order, but at the same time adjust the window limiter so that the upper edge of the glass is completely in contact with the seal.
