2. Press the finger panel forward and remove it from the trim panel. Remove the gasket, then use a pry bar to remove and disconnect the inner cable from the lever (photo). Where equipped, disconnect the rear window wiring harness.
3. On models with manual windows, remove the regulator handle, use a lever to remove the button, plastic cover and mounting screw.
4. Unscrew the screws and remove the handle grip. Disconnect where the electrical wiring is installed and disconnect the mirror adjustment mechanism on the front door (photo).
5. Remove the screws from the top corners, then push the trim panel up to release the plastic hooks from the door (photo). Remove the trim panel from above the lock release button.
6. Remove the plastic clips and remove the trim from the inside of the trim panel (photo).
7. Reassemble in reverse order. Install the window regulator arm as shown in Fig. 11.7. Check that the upper edge of the trim is level with the outer lip of the window seal and adjust the screws on the regulator mounting plate if necessary.
