2. Lubricate the door lock cylinder and the tailgate with AUDI-G 052 778 A2 grease as well. To do this, lubricate the key and insert it into the lock several times. Then wipe the key.

Sliding Roof Panel: Cleaning and Lubricating the Guides



1. Open the sliding panel and clean the guides that become visible.



Caution: Cover adjacent painted surfaces with paper.


2. Lubricate the guides with special grease AUDI-G 052 778 A2.

Caution: Do not use any other lubricant. It may cause the sliding panel to malfunction.


Warning: If water penetrates into the interior through the sliding panel during rain and when washing the car, have the leak repaired at a service station.

To carry out the work you will need aerosol oil VW/AUDI G 000 115 A2.
