Hood lock mechanism (Audi 100 C3)

The hood lock drive lever is located on the left under the instrument panel (see photo). The lever opens the hood lock when pulled towards you. The hood lid is lifted by the spring.



To fully open the hood, push the lever to the right (see photo). In the open position, the hood is held by a spring.



To close the hood, push it down until it clicks. Do not operate the vehicle with the hood latch open.
