1. Remove the door trim panel (Chapter 14).
2. Pull out the bracket and disconnect the linkage rod from the outer handle.
3. Loosen the handle mounting bolt, then turn the bracket to the other end of the handle clockwise and remove the handle from the door slot.
4. Insert the key into the lock cylinder, then remove the retaining ring and remove the control lever and spring. Remove the lock cylinder and frame from the handle.
5. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
