Wiring diagram for external door handle for keyless access control system

1. Outside door handle touch sensor in the outside door handle. Front door: outside front left door touch sensor "G605", outside front right door touch sensor "G606". Rear door: outside rear left door touch sensor "G417", outside rear right door touch sensor "G418"; 2. Door lock.; 3. Lock switch guide; 4. Support bracket; 5. Lock cylinder (driver's side only); 6. Plug. Driver's side for lock cylinder. Front passenger side, closed version; 7. External door handle

Removal the front door outer handle touch sensor "G605" / "G606"

Turn off the ignition. Remove the outer door handle. Unlock the "arrow A" latches and remove the "3" connector. Using a small screwdriver, carefully unlock the "arrow B" latches and remove the wiring harness.

"Pos. 1, 2" do not take into account. Install the screwdriver on the outer door handle as shown in the figure.

Using a slight twist of a screwdriver, press the front door outer handle touch sensor forward from its mount in the outer door handle. Remove the front outer handle touch sensor from the outer door handle.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: push the front touch sensor of the outer handle until it locks into place audibly. Installing the outer handle.

Removal the cabin antenna 1 of the access and engine start authorization system "R138"

Switch off the ignition. Vehicles with MMI Basic equipment: remove the center console cover. Vehicles with MMI Comfort basic equipment: remove the used multimedia system "E380". Disconnect the electrical plug connection "3". Unscrew the bolt "4". Remove the internal antenna 1 of the access and start authorization system R138-, "pos. 1".

Installation

Installation in reverse order: When installing, ensure that antenna 1 in the passenger compartment for the access control and engine start system "R138" engages with mount "2". Vehicles with MMI-Basis equipment: install the center console cover. Vehicles with basic MMI-Comfort equipment: install the used multimedia system "E380".

Removal the antenna of the access control system and engine start right "R200" / "R201"

Switch off the ignition. Remove the trim of the corresponding rear door. Unscrew the bolts "arrows" and remove the antenna of the access control and engine start system "2". Disconnect the electrical plug connection "1".

Installation

Installation in reverse order: install the rear door trim.

Removal the antenna of the access and engine start system in the trunk "R137"

Switch off ignition. Remove rear trim. Unscrew nuts "arrows". Remove antenna of access control system and engine start in trunk "P137" "pos. 1". Disconnect electrical plug connection "2".
