Lights and switches in the front seats, trunk 1. Footwell light, rear left "W45"; 2. Footwell light, rear right "W46"; 3. Left trunk light "W18". 12 V, 5 W; 4. General illumination 1 in the trunk lid "W61". 12 V, 5 W; 5. Boot lid contact switch. Built into the boot lid lock. If faulty, it cannot be replaced separately from the rear door lock; 6. Removal the rear footwell light "W45" / "W46"
Turn off the ignition. Press in the locking tab "2" with a flat screwdriver and remove the footwell light "1" by prying it off with a lever.
Disconnect the electrical plug connection.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: If the LED is faulty, replace the footwell light assembly. Insert the footwell light into the hole and fix it on the opposite side.
Removal the W18 "/-W3" trunk light, removing and installing the "W61" general lighting lamp
Turn off the ignition. Press the lock "1" with a flat screwdriver and remove the lamp "2". Disconnect the electrical plug connection "3".
Light in the trunk door: carefully pry off the cover above the "arrow" lamp.
Remove lamp "1" on the back of the lampshade from socket "2".
Installation
Installation in reverse order: insert the lamp cover into the trunk lid. Connect the plug connector. Install the lamp in the hole and fix it on the other side.
Removal the limit switch in the trunk lid
The rear door limit switch "arrow" is located in the rear door lock and cannot be replaced separately if damaged.
Removal the trunk lid closing button in the trunk "E406"
Switch off the ignition. Using a narrow screwdriver "1", unlock the right and left clamps "arrow" of the trunk lid closing button "E406" "pos. 2".
Carefully remove the boot lid closing button from the boot lid trim. Disconnect the electrical plug connection.
Installation in reverse order.
