Removal the electromechanical parking brake button "E538", the AUTO HOLD button "E540"
Pull the parking brake button to engage the electromechanical parking brake. Switch off the ignition.
Vehicles with MMi-Basis equipment: removing the center console cover.
Cars with basic MMi-Comfort equipment: removal of used multimedia system "E380".
Unlock the "arrow" clamps and push the "E538-/key" electromechanical parking brake button of the AUTO HOLD -E540 "POS. 2" out of the plug "1" /used multimedia system "E380".
Installation
Installation is in reverse order, with vehicles equipped with MMi-Basis: installing the center console plug. Vehicles with basic MMi-Comfort equipment: installing the used E380 multimedia system.
Removal the access control and engine start button "E408"
Pull the parking brake button to engage the electromechanical parking brake. Switch off the ignition.
Vehicles with MMi-Basis equipment: removing the center console cover.
Cars with basic MMi-Comfort equipment: removal of used multimedia system "E380".
Remove the clamp fixation of the "arrow" using a 2 mm wire "pos. 2".
Press the key of the access control system and engine start right -E408 "POS. 1" out of the plug "3" / used multimedia system "E380".
Installation
Installation is in reverse order, with vehicles equipped with MMi-Basis: installing the center console plug. Vehicles with basic MMi-Comfort: installing the used E380 multimedia system.
Removal the selector position indicator "Y26" with the selector scale illumination lamp "L101"
Pull the parking brake button to engage the electromechanical parking brake. Move the selector lever to the "S" position. Switch off the ignition. Carefully pry the gear selector sleeve to the side with a "3409" wedge or a small "arrow" screwdriver. Move the gear selector lever sleeve upwards.
Unlock the spring lock "2" and remove the gear selector lever position indicator "Y26" "pos. 1" "arrow".
Disconnect the electrical plug connection.
Installation in reverse order.
Removal the keypad in the center console. Cars with MMI-Basis equipment
Pull the parking brake button to engage the electromechanical parking brake. Switch off the ignition. Remove the center console trim. Carefully unlock the "arrow" locks with a small screwdriver "2". Press the keypad "1" out of the key slot.
Installation
Reverse installation: Press the window switch module until it locks into place. Install the center console trim.
Removal the cup holder switch with heating and cooling element "Z105"
Turn off the ignition. Remove the cup holder with the heating and cooling element. Carefully squeeze the "arrow" latches and remove the plug "1" with the switch from the center console "2".
Installation
Installation in reverse order: installing a cup holder with a heating and cooling element.
Rear heated seat adjustment switch "E128" / "E129"
Switch off the ignition. Remove the rear trim panel of the center console. Unlock the fastening clamps "arrows" and remove the switch "2" for adjusting the rear seat with heating from the rear trim panel of the center console.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: install the center console trim from the rear.
