Parking assistant 1. Front right middle sensor "G253" in the radiator grille; 2. Front right sensor "G252" in the front bumper trim; 3. Parking assistant button "E266" (only with 8-channel parking assistant); 4. Rear warning buzzer "H15" on the rear right D-pillar; 5/15. Bolt; 6. Expansion clamp; 7. Electrical plug connection; 8. Used parking assistant "J446" in the trunk at the rear on the right under the side trim; 9/10. Nut. 3 Nm; 11. Rear right sensor "G206" in the rear bumper trim; 12. Rear right middle sensor "G205" in the rear bumper trim; 13. Rear left middle sensor "G204" in the rear bumper trim; 14. Rear left sensor "G203" in the rear bumper trim; 16. Front parking assistant warning signal "H22" (only with 8-channel parking assistant) on the front control panel bracket behind the storage compartment on the driver's side; 17. Electrical plug connection; 18. Expansion clamp; 19. Front left sensor "G255" in the front bumper trim; 20. Front left middle sensor "G254" in the radiator grille

Removal a used parking assistant "J446"

When replacing a used one, select the "Replace" function of the corresponding used one in the "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" mode. Select the function or path: Vehicle brand - Engine code -10 Parking assistant J446 "J446" Replacing a used parking assistant. Follow further instructions on the display of the diagnostic tester. Switch off the ignition. Open the lid of the side trim of the trunk on the right. Disconnect the electrical plug connections "2...4". Unscrew the nuts "arrows". Remove the parking assistant control unit "J446" "pos. 1",

Installation

Installation in reverse order: follow the further instructions on the tester display for the new parking aid control unit "J446".

Removal the front parking assistant warning signal "H22". 8-channel parking assistant

Switch off the ignition. Remove the front panel cover on the driver's side. Unscrew bolts "1" and "3". Remove the front parking assistant warning buzzer "H22" "pos. 2" with spacer clips. Disconnect the electrical plug connection "4".

Installation

Installation is in reverse order: install the front panel cover on the driver's side.

Removal the rear warning buzzer of the parking assistant "N15"

Switch off ignition. Remove D-pillar trim. Unscrew bolts "1" and "2". Remove front parking assistant warning buzzer -H22 "pos. 3" with spacer clips. Disconnect electrical plug connection "4".

Installation

Installation in reverse order: install the D-pillar trim.

Removal the front parking sensors "G252" / "G253" / "G254" / "G255"

Turn off the ignition. External sensor: unlock the lock "arrow A" with a screwdriver "1". Remove the air intake grille "2" of the bumper cover "arrow B".

Insert your hand through the hole in the bumper cover and press both clamps in the direction of the "arrow", while simultaneously pressing sensor "2" from the outside inward.

Disconnect the electrical plug connection "1" on the sensor.

Inner sensor: remove the front bumper trim. Move both clips toward the "arrow" and simultaneously press sensor "2" from the outside inward. Disconnect the electrical plug connection "1" on the sensor.

Installation

Installation in reverse order. In this case, the inner sensor: install the front bumper trim.

Removal the rear parking sensors "G203" / "G204" / "G205" / "G206"

Turn off the ignition.

Right side of the vehicle. Vehicles with 4-cyl. engine: Remove clamping pin "arrow" and remove clamping clip "1". Unscrew nuts "2, 3, 5". Remove rear aerodynamic underbody trim "4".

All: put your hand underneath the bumper trim. Move both clamps toward the "arrow" and simultaneously push sensor "2" from the outside inward. Disconnect the electrical plug connection "1" on the sensor.
