To apply the parking brake, pull up firmly parking brake lever. If the road has a large slope, you should additionally engage first gear or set the automatic transmission to parking lock mode. When the vehicle is braked with the parking brake and the ignition is on, the warning lamp for the emergency state of the service brake system and the parking brake is on lights up.
