Front seats
Proper seating is essential to ensure:
- access to governing bodies;
- travel comfort;
- maximize the effectiveness of seat belts and airbags.
Driver's seat
The driver's seat is recommended to be installed as follows:
- adjust the position of the seat in the longitudinal plane so that the pedals can be squeezed out completely with the legs slightly bent at the knees;
- adjust the seatback position so that the backrest is fully adjacent to the back, and the upper point of the steering wheel can be reached with slightly bent elbows.
Warning: Do not place any objects on the floor in front of the driver's seat, as in the event of emergency braking or even a small impact, they may be under the pedal, which will make driving difficult or lead to an accident.
Front passenger seat
The front passenger seat is recommended to be installed as follows:
- the position of the seat back is close to vertical;
- feet are comfortably on the floor, with the seat as far back as possible.
Front seats (manual adjustment)
Warning: To ensure safety, seat adjustments should only be made when the vehicle is stationary.
On fig. 1-15 show the possible seat adjustments.
1 - seat adjustment in the longitudinal direction.
Pull the handle up and move the seat. Then release the handle and move the seat a little more until the latch is released.
2 - seat height adjustment.
Having risen from the seat cushion, move the handle 2 up; Sit comfortably in the seat, adjust the seat cushion to the desired height, and release the handle.
3 – adjustment of an inclination of a back of a seat.
Pressing the switch up will tilt the seat back.
Pressing the switch down will tilt the seatback forward.
Warning: The seat back must not be tilted too far back while driving, as this significantly reduces the effectiveness of the seat belts.
Front seats (electrically adjustable)
Power seats adjustable via switches A and IN (pic. 1–16). Switch WITH provides adjustment of the support in the lumbar region, and the switch D - the height of the head restraint.
The adjustment can also be made with the ignition off.
Seat position is adjusted by pressing the switch A in the directions of the arrows:
- 1 - forward / backward;
- 2 - front plane of the seat up / down;
- 3 - rear plane of the seat up / down;
- 2, 3 at the same time - in height.
The position of the seat back and the height of the head restraints are adjusted by pressing (in the directions of the arrows) switch IN:
- forward: tilt back;
- back: forward back tilt;
- up: headrest lift;
- down: lower the head restraint.
When pressing the dial switch WITH part of the seatback in the lumbar region becomes more or less arched. By adjusting the support, you should find the most favorable position for the support of the spinal column, which will avoid fatigue during long trips.
Support is adjustable in height (higher lower) and in size (curved / flat).
To adjust the height of the upper seat belt anchor D you should press the upper or lower button and, holding it until the belt bracket moves up or down, achieve such a position of the belt that its shoulder branch passes through the middle of the shoulder (in no case through the throat).
The seat height can be adjusted for a better belt position on the front seats.
Driver's seat memory
Allows you to memorize four individual settings for the seat, steering column, exterior mirrors and head restraints.
When changing driver when pressing the seat button steering column, the exterior mirrors and head restraint height will automatically assume the previously adjusted positions.
The memory device works even when the ignition is off.
To record and output data, you must press the appropriate button «ON/ OFF» into position «ON».
Memorizing settings
Adjust the seat.
Set the height of the head restraints.
Adjust the position of both exterior mirrors.
Set the position of the steering column.
Press the memory key «Memory» and while holding the key, press one of the four memory buttons.
Release the memory key «Memory».
The adjustment data is stored in the memory device under the key you have chosen.
Notes: It is recommended to start filling the memory with the left key and indicate to each other driver its key.
When new adjustments are made to the memory device, the previous adjustments on this key are erased from the memory.
When the battery is disconnected from the on-board network, all memorized seat and exterior mirror adjustments are erased.
Matching the radio remote control key with the memory keys
To ensure that the settings stored in the memory can also be called up via the remote control, the remote control key must be assigned to each memory button.
It is recommended to coordinate one of the two remote control keys supplied with the new car with the 1st memory key, and the other key with the 2nd key.
Open the driver's door. Insert the infrared key into the open door lock. Close all vehicle doors except the driver's door.
Press the key to which the key is to be programmed. With the key pressed, give a short infrared signal with the key - the car will open. Release the key.
Front armrest
The armrest can take several positions.
To set the position of the armrest, press the button at the end of the armrest A, fold the armrest down and release the button. Then raise the armrest until it reaches the desired position.
When the armrest is tilted down, the freedom of movement of the arm may be limited, so this position is not recommended when driving in urban areas.
Backseat
switches A and IN the lumbar support and the height of the headrests can be adjusted.
When pressing the dial switch A (pic. 1–22) part of the seatback in the lumbar region becomes more or less arched. By adjusting the support, find the most favorable position for the support of the spinal column, which will avoid fatigue during long trips.
Head restraint height adjustment by pressing (in the directions of the arrows) switch IN:
- up: headrest lift;
- down: lower the head restraint.
To the greatest extent, the safety requirements are met by the position of the head restraint, in which its upper edge is at eye level or higher.
Headrests
To adjust the position of the head restraint, grasp the sides of the head restraint with both hands and slide it up or down (pic. 1–23).
To remove the head restraint, pull it up to the stop and, pressing the button (in the direction of the arrow), remove the head restraint.
To install the headrest, slide the headrest rods into the guide holes until you hear a click indicating that the lock is engaged (pic. 1–24).
Cover for transportation of long luggage
A cover for transporting long luggage, such as skis, protects it from dirt, and the car interior from damage.
Loading the case
The cover for long luggage must be loaded from the side of the luggage compartment.
Fold forward the center armrest at the rear.
Open the trunk and free it from the middle of the luggage.
Press key (pic. 1–25) unlock the cover of the device to load the case.
Take out the cover, unfold it and unzip it.
Remove the seat belt tongue from the cover holder.
Slide skis or other long objects through the luggage compartment into the passenger compartment.
Once loaded, secure the case securely.
