The head restraints must be adjusted in proportion to the height. Effective protection in combination with seat belts is only possible if the head restraints are correctly adjusted in height.
Head restraint height adjustment
To do this, take them with your hands from both sides and pull them up to the appropriate height or lower them down in the reverse order.
The top edge of the head restraints should be at eye level.
Removal and installation of head restraints
Lift the protective cover up, use a small screwdriver to remove the mounting springs from the slots as shown in the figure and pull out the head restraints.
When reinstalling them in place - first install the mounting springs in the grooves of the protective cover with the loops outward, then insert the head restraint rods into the guide holes and press down until you hear the click of the latch. Lower the protective cover as low as possible.
