Mechanical drive
The windows are mechanically opened and closed by window lift handles located in the door trim.
Automatic drive
When the ignition is on, the windows can be opened and closed electrically.
The power window switches are located in the driver's door armrest.
In addition, there are additional switches on the front door armrest on the right and on the rear side door handles.
The electric windows also work when the ignition is off, regardless of whether the doors are closed or open. They are switched off only after the driver's door is opened and closed again.
Automatic window lift control from the driver's side.

By pressing the switch, the driver's door window is raised or lowered. By briefly pressing the switch in the opposite direction, raising or lowering is suspended. The automatic system only works when the engine is running. If it is turned off, the electric window lifter will work until the switch is locked. There is a safety button (arrow) in the armrest of the driver's door between the window lifter switches. If necessary, it can be used to lock the rear side window lifters and turn off the cigarette lighter on the center console between the seats.

Operation of the window lifts and their control by independent switches on the side door handles is only possible when the safety button is pressed.
Attention: When the window lifts are in automatic mode, be careful and cautious. Uncontrolled operation of the automatic system may cause injuries. When leaving the car, never leave the key in the ignition.
