To open the hood, pull the handle of the lock drive, located on the left under the dashboard. The hood will unlock and open slightly under the action of the spring.
Approach the hood from the front, lift it slightly, release it from the lock in the direction of the arrow and open it.
Take out the metal support, insert it into the special longitudinal slot in the lower side of the hood, as shown in the picture on the right, and fix it.
In cars with a spring-loaded hood lifting mechanism, the hood is fixed with a spring.
To close the hood, lift it up a little, remove the support from the slot, put it back in place and slowly lower the hood from a distance of approximately 30 cm, throw it - the hood will close under its own weight. It is not recommended to press on it from above additionally.
For versions with a spring-assisted lifting mechanism, overcome the force of the spring, lower the hood down and slam it shut.
Attention: When driving, the hood must be closed. Therefore, when closing it, always check the reliability of the locking. If during driving you notice that the hood has opened slightly, stop the car and close it.
