From the outside, the front doors are locked and unlocked with a key, while the internal locking buttons are pushed down or pulled up.
The front passenger door and all rear doors can be locked from the outside without a key. To do this, simply push the locking buttons down and then slam the doors.
The driver's door is not locked with the lock button when open. This helps prevent the driver from forgetting the key in the ignition.
All doors are locked from the inside by pressing the lock button down. In this position, the doors cannot be opened either from the outside or from the inside. The lock buttons should not be pressed while driving, as locked doors make it difficult for rescuers to enter the car in the event of an accident.
Child protection

The rear side doors have an additional child safety lock. The inside door handle is locked by turning the locking device switch, located at the bottom of the door lock, in the direction of the arrow. See the figure. In this case, the upper locking button must be pulled out. The door, locked in this way, can only be opened from the outside.
