Interior mirror

The rear view mirror is adjusted using a drive lever. The mirror can be set by turning the lever to one of two positions.

In the basic position, the lever at the bottom of the mirror should point forward.

To avoid being blinded by the headlights of a car behind you, change the angle of the mirror by moving the lever back.

External standard mirror

The electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are installed with the ignition on using the setting disc located in the door armrest (Fig. 1–10).

The mirror moves in the direction corresponding to the pressed arrow on the disk.

By pressing the left button L adjust the mirror on the driver's side by pressing the right button R - mirror on the front passenger side.

If the electric adjustment fails, the position of the mirrors can be changed manually by pressing on the edges of the mirror.

When reverse gear is engaged, the mirror rotates slightly downwards if the front passenger outside mirror adjustment button is on.

This ensures that the right curb is visible when parking.

When reverse gear is disengaged, the mirror automatically returns to its original position.

Mirror with folding function

Using the tuning knob A (Fig. 1-11) On the driver's side, the outside mirror can be folded on the front passenger and driver's side.

Fig. 1–11. Positions of the mirror switch with folding function: 1 – neutral position; 2 – both outside mirrors fold; A – mirror adjustment handle; B – outside mirror position switch; L – driver's outside mirror folds; R – the front passenger's outside mirror folds

The handle has four positions:
  • 1 - neutral position;
  • L - folds the outside mirror on the driver's side;
  • R - folds the outside mirror on the front passenger side;
  • 2 - both outside mirrors fold.

Folding is recommended, for example, to protect mirrors from damage when parking the car or driving in tight spaces.

The mirror folds in accordance with the pressed arrow on the disk.

Notes: If the position of the outside mirror housing has changed due to force (for example, when touching another car while maneuvering), both mirrors should be pressed all the way to the body using the electric drive. In no case should the mirror position be restored by hand, so as not to disturb the mirror installation mechanism.

If there is a risk of damage to the exterior mirror housings, you can interrupt the process of pressing the mirrors to the body and returning them to their original position.

Memory for exterior mirrors

Vehicles equipped with a position memory device are also equipped with a position memory for the outside mirrors.

Any position set for the outside mirrors is automatically entered into the memory when the driver's seat adjustments are memorized.

First, you should adjust the position of the driver's seat, and then set the mirrors according to the position of the driver's seat.

Heated mirrors

The outside electrically operated mirrors are heated when the ignition and rear window heating are on.
