Front seats

Correct seat position is important for:
  • fast and reliable use of controls
  • relaxed, non-tiring posture
  • achieving the maximum protective effect of seat belts and airbag systems.

Warning: Therefore, do not move the front seats too close to the steering wheel/instrument panel.

While driving, your feet should be in the footwell – never on the dashboard or seat cushions.

Adjust your seat as described below. Also consider the basic adjustment for the driver and front passenger seats below.

Driver's seat

We recommend the following option for adjusting the driver's seat position:
  • Adjust the longitudinal position of the driver's seat so that with slightly bent legs you can fully depress the pedals.
  • Adjust the angle of the backrest so that the surface of the backrest is completely in contact with your back and it is possible to reach the highest point of the steering wheel with slightly bent arms.

Warning: No objects should be placed in the footwell as they could get caught under the pedals in the event of emergency braking.

Warning: In this case, you will not be able to brake, depress the clutch or press the accelerator pedal!

Front passenger seat

The following adjustment of the front passenger seat position is recommended:
  • Direct (vertical) backrest position.
  • Comfortable leg placement in the footwell.
  • At the same time, move the seat as far back as possible.

At the same time, move the seat as far back as possible.

1 unlocking the backrest

(two-door models only)

Pull the handle up, unlock the backrest and fold it forward. When folding the backrest, the seat cushion is slightly raised and moved forward.

To return the backrest to its original position, pull the handle up again.

To enable the driver to unlock and fold the backrest of the front passenger seat, there is an additional release handle on the left side of the passenger seat.

Warning: For safety reasons, the front seat backs must always be locked while driving!

2 backrest tilt adjustment

Unload the seat back and adjust its tilt by turning the handle.

Warning: To avoid compromising the protective effect of the seat belts, do not recline the seatbacks too far back while driving.

3 seat height adjustment*

The seat height is adjusted by pushing or pulling the handle.

Warning: For safety reasons, do not adjust the height of the driver's seat while driving!

Warning: Be careful when adjusting the height! Inattention or loss of control during the adjustment process can cause injury.

4 lumbar support output (ergomatic)*

By pressing the switch forward or backward, you can respectively extend or retract the upholstery in the lumbar area, changing the convexity of the backrest contour.

This ensures extremely effective support for the lumbar spine along its entire natural contour, with a seating position that does not cause fatigue even on long journeys.

5 longitudinal seat adjustment

Pull the handle up and slide the seat. Then release the handle and slide the seat until the lock clicks into place.

Warning: For safety reasons, do not adjust the longitudinal position of the driver's seat while driving!

2 seat height adjustment

The seat height is adjusted electrically by pulling/pressing the switch in the appropriate direction, up or down.

Warning: For safety reasons, do not adjust the height of the driver's seat while driving!

Warning: Be careful when adjusting the height! Inattention or loss of control over the adjustment process can cause injury. The electric drive also works when the ignition is switched off / after the key is removed from the ignition. Therefore, never leave children unattended in the car.

4 seat back adjustment

By pressing the switch, the backrest can be moved in the directions indicated by the arrows:
  • Forward backrest lift
  • Back lowering of the backrest

Warning: To avoid compromising the protective effect of the seat belts, only fold the front seatbacks back while driving until the diagonal webbing of the belt rests against your chest.

5 unlocking the backrest

(two-door models only)

Pull the handle up, unlock the backrest and move it forward. When you pull the handle up, the entire seat is unlocked and moved forward. When you fold the backrest, the seat returns to its original position.

Seat cushion adjustment

This individual adjustment option ensures optimal support of the thighs on the seat cushion.

To extend, press up the locking handle located under the front part of the cushion and, pulling the handle, move the cushion forward and set it in the desired position.

To retract, press the locking handle up and move the pillow to the desired position.

Adjusting the armrest position*

Adjusting the armrest position*

To adjust the position, press the button at the end of the armrest (arrow) and move it down. After that, lift it until it snaps into the lock in the desired position.

Remember that when the armrest is lowered all the way, the mobility of the forearm is limited. Therefore, when driving around the city, do not lower the armrest.

Headrests

Headrests

Headrests are height and tilt adjustable. They should be installed according to height. Correctly installed headrests in combination with seat belts provide effective protection.

Height adjustment

Grasp the headrest with both hands and move it up or down.

The optimal protective effect is ensured when the upper edge of the headrest is at least at or above eye level.
