Lighting and switches in the headlining (Audi Q5-8R)

1. Used garage door opener "J530"; 2. Vanity mirror light on the right. Vanity mirror light "L31". 12 V, 5 W; 3. Sliding sunroof position regulator "E139"; 4. Front passenger compartment light cover/reading background. Interior lighting plafond: the plafond in the front part of the interior "W1". 12 V, 10 W. Interior lighting lamp: individual reading lamp on the front passenger side "W13". Individual lamp on the driver's side "W19". 12 V, 5 W; 5. Control panel for garage door opening system "E284"; 6. Ceiling light, rear right "W48" (for cars with sliding sunroof). 12V, 5W.; 7. Interior light/reading light rear for vehicles without sliding sunroof. 12 V, 5 W. Light rear left "W47". Light rear right "W48"; 8. Ceiling light rear left "W47" (for cars with sliding sunroof). 12V, 5W.; 9. Vanity mirror light on the left. Vanity mirror light "L31". 12 V, 5 W.

Tightening torque, interior light/front reading light.

1. Bolt 1.6 Nm; 2. Compartment for glasses; 3. Front interior light/reading light.

Tightening torque of the sliding sunroof position regulator "E139"

Tighten the arrow bolts to 1 Nm.

Removal the vanity mirror light bulb "L31"

Switch off the ignition. Carefully remove the vanity mirror light bulb from the recess marked "arrow" using a flat-head screwdriver. Disconnect the electrical plug connection.

To replace the lamp, remove the "arrow" cover. From the back of the vanity mirror light, remove the lamp from the socket.

Installation in reverse order.

Removal the contact switch of the vanity mirror "F147" / "F148"

The contact switch for the vanity mirror is located in the sun visor support and cannot be replaced separately if defective.

Removal the front interior/reading lamp.

Switch off the ignition. Open the glasses compartment "2". Unscrew the bolt "1". Turn the interior light/front reading lamp "3" downwards and remove it from the headlining. Disconnect the electrical plug connections.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: hang and fix the interior lighting lamp.

Replacement of front interior light bulbs "W1"

Turn off the ignition. Unlock the diffuser "2" in the places indicated by the "arrow" with a narrow screwdriver "1" and remove it.

Remove lamp "1" or "2" from the chuck.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: first install the 4 fixing tabs of the diffuser "1" into the body of the "arrow" lamp and press on the rear edge until fixed.

Replacing the front reading lights "W13" / "W19"

Switch off the ignition. Remove the interior light/front reading light. Unscrew the socket "1" or "2" from the interior light/individual light "3". Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation

Installation is in reverse order: install the interior light/reading lamp in the front part of the passenger compartment.

Removal the sunroof regulator "E139"

Switch off ignition. Remove interior light/front reading light. Disconnect electrical plug connection "2". Unscrew bolts "arrows". Remove sunroof position regulator "E139" "pos. 1" from front interior light/front reading light.

Installation

Installation is in reverse order: install the interior light/reading lamp in the front part of the passenger compartment.

Removal the LED diffuse light

The ambient light LED is located in the interior light/reading lamp in the front of the cabin and cannot be replaced separately if a defect occurs.

Removal used garage door opener "J530"

Switch off the ignition. To remove the spacer clips "arrows", carefully insert pin "1" at a distance "x" into the clip until you hear "arrow A" locking. Size "x" = 5 mm.

Remove the unlocked clip "2" with the pin. Lift the cover "3" on the radiator frame and hang it on the radiator grille. Disconnect the electrical plug connection. Unlock the clamps "arrow" and remove the control unit for opening the garage door "530" "pos. 2" from the mounting frame.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: install the radiator frame trim on the radiator grille.

Removal used garage door opener "E284"

Switch off ignition. Remove interior light/front reading light. If present, remove anti-theft alarm sensor "G578". Unlock clamps "arrows" and remove control panel for garage door opener "E284" "pos. 1" from interior light/front reading light "2".

Installation

Installation in reverse order: install the interior light/reading lamp in the front part of the passenger compartment.

Removal the rear interior/reading lamp. Cars without a sunroof

Switch off the ignition. Carefully remove the interior light/reading lamp "1" using the mounting wedge "3409" from the opening in the ceiling "arrow". Disconnect the electrical plug connection.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: insert the interior light/reading lamp into the ceiling opening and secure.

Replacing the rear interior light bulb W47/W48. Cars without a sliding sunroof

Switch off ignition. Remove rear interior light/reading light. Unlock interior light diffuser disc "2". Remove bulb "3" or "4" from socket.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: Press the interior light bulb diffuser until it clicks into place. Installing the rear interior light/reading light.

Replacing the rear interior light/light bulb "W47" / "W48". Car without a sliding sunroof.

Turn off the ignition. Removing the rear cover of the indoor lighting/reading lamp. Unlock the diffusion disk "2" of the internal lamp / ceiling light. Remove the lamp "3" or "4" from the holder "1".

Installation

Installation in reverse order: Press the interior light bulb diffuser until it clicks into place. Installing the rear interior light/reading light.

Removal rear interior/reading lamp. Cars with sliding sunroof

Switch off the ignition. Unlock the interior light latches by pushing back the clamp "4" through the hole with a narrow screwdriver "2". Remove the light from the cutout in the ceiling. Disconnect the electrical plug connection.

Installation

Installation in reverse order: insert the lamp into the cutout in the ceiling and press until it is firmly fixed. In this case, the lock "4" will be fixed on the mounting frame "3" of the lamp.
