Lane Change Assist 1. Lane Keeping Assist indicator light in driver's side exterior mirror "K233"; 2. Lane Keeping Assist Button "E530"; 3. Lane Keeping Assist indicator light in the exterior mirror on the front passenger side "K234"; 4/6/8/10/12/13. Bolt.; 2.5 Nm; 5. Electrical plug connection; 7. Used 2 lane assist "J770"; 9. Used lane assist "J769"; 11. Electrical plug connection


Removal the lane change assistant button "E530"



Switch off the ignition. Remove the tweeter cover. Remove the lane change assist button "E530" "pos. 2" from the "arrow" latches. Disconnect the electrical plug connection "1".

Installation



Installation in reverse order: install the tweeter cover.

Removal the lane change assistant indicator in the outside mirror "K233" / "K234"



Switch off the ignition. Remove the mirror. Disconnect and remove connector "1" from the socket. Unlock the lock "arrow A" and press the signal lamp "2" of the lane change assistant out of the housing "3" of the outside mirror "arrow B".



Switch off the ignition. Remove the mirror. Disconnect and remove connector «1» from the socket.…


Installation



Installation in reverse order: If the LED is faulty, replace the lane change assist indicator in the outside mirror assembly.

Removal a used lane change assistant "J769" / "J770"



Switch off ignition. Remove rear bumper trim. Disconnect electrical plug connection "2". Unscrew bolts "arrows". Remove control unit "1" of lane departure assistant.

Installation



Installation in reverse order: Install the rear bumper trim. If the bumper trim has been removed, the lane change assist control unit "J769" / "J770" must be recalibrated.
