Removal
Remove the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side.
Remove the mounting bolts of the bracket with the hood lock opening handle 3 (fig. 12.18).

Remove the cable from the counter support - arrow B (fig. 12.18) and from the suspension eye - arrow A on the bottom of the hood lock.
Pull out the fastening clamp 4 (fig. 12.18).
Get the cable 1 (fig. 12.18) from the guide channel of the seal 6 and pull it into the vehicle interior.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
