Adjusting the position of the trunk lid on AVANT vehicles (Audi A6 C5)

To adjust the trunk lid, the gas strut must be in place.

Remove the trim around the perimeter of the trunk.

Unscrew nuts 1 (fig. 12.25) and remove the cover from the closing hinge 2.



Loosen nut 3 a little (fig. 12.25), so that the closing loop could be moved. If the closing pin was removed, make sure that the projection is located at the back when installing - arrow (fig. 12.25).

Loosen bolts 5 (fig. 12.26) and completely pull out the hooks 4 of the stop 3.



Carefully close and reopen the trunk lid. Without moving the stop, tighten the bolts of its fastening.
