Removal

Remove the warning triangle with the mount 5 (fig. 12.21).

To remove, first remove the emergency stop warning sign and unscrew bolts 4.

6 - locking pin,
7 - nuts, 8 Nm


Remove the trunk lid trim. Disconnect and remove the electrical wires.

Mark the position of the trunk lid by drawing a line around the nuts on the trunk hinge with a felt-tip pen.

With the help of an assistant, support the trunk lid.

Remove the gas-filled strut. Unscrew the nuts and, together with an assistant, remove the trunk lid.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Adjustment

Loosen the nuts securing the trunk lid to the hinge.

Adjust the shock absorbers 2 (fig. 12.21).

Adjust the locking pin 6 (fig. 12.21).

In accordance with the dimensions shown in Figure 12.22, install the trunk lid, adjusting the height and length.

Adjust the trunk lid through the locking pin 6 (fig. 12.21) to the rear wing.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, press the spring pin all the way down and turn it to the left to lock it.

Screw the shock absorber completely into the trunk lid.

Carefully close the trunk lid until it fits snugly against the side.

Gradually unscrew the shock absorber thrust.

Check the adjustment. The shock absorbers should lightly touch the edge of the trunk when the lid is closed.

Turn the screwdriver to the right to release the spring clamp.
