
Close the hood and place it in the middle of the wings. Close the hood so that an equal parallel gap is formed between it and the adjacent parts and body parts.
Carefully lift the adjusted hood so that its position on the hinge does not shift.
Tighten the bonnet hinge mounting nuts to 15 Nm.
Loosen the four bolts 2 a little (fig. 12.16) on the hood bracket 1.

Adjust the height of the hood by sliding the bracket upwards and tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
Adjust the hood height in relation to the wings. To do this, screw in the adjusting shock-absorbing stops 1 and 2 (fig. 12.17), located in front of the hood. By unscrewing the rubber shock-absorbing stops, adjust the height of the front of the hood in relation to the fenders. When the hood is closed, the shock-absorbing stops should easily lie on the supporting part.
