Disconnect the negative wire from the battery. Remove the hoses from the pump. Plug the holes.
Remove the belt adjusting bolt or tensioner lock nut, push the pump to one side and remove the belt.
Support the pump, remove the mounting bolts and take out the pump
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the power steering mounting bolts to 20 Nm and the bolts with a hole to 45 Nm.
Adjust the belt, tighten the tensioner lock nut to 20 Nm. Make sure that the pump inlet chamber is filled with hydraulic fluid before connecting the lines, otherwise the pump may be damaged.
