Device for straightening deformed elements of car bodies (Audi 100 C4)

It consists of a beam (10) and a hinged rocking power lever (1), a hydraulic cylinder (3), a hand hydraulic pump (12), a stop (5), a power crossbar (6) and a set of straightening devices.



The beam and the rocker arm have a rectangular cross-section, welded from channels. To perform repair work, the body of the emergency vehicle is installed on trestles-supports. The power crossbar (6) is secured with grips to the body sill stiffening ribs. The device is rolled under the vehicle body in the direction of the impact and rests with part (5) against the power crossbar (6).

Depending on the nature of the work being performed, the stop (5) can be secured to the beam (10) at different lengths. Then the lever (1) is set in motion by a hydraulic drive and the deformed part of the body is leveled.
