A Scheme of fastening to the body thresholds
B Chain reeving scheme
The foundation frame is the base of the stand and is used to install and secure the damaged vehicle, power struts, tensioners and other devices that provide hydraulic straightening of damaged bodies. The frame is made of channel No.14 and is an intersection of a box profile with 20 mm wide grooves located along and across the entire area of the frame. This frame design allows for fastening the vehicle (body) on it, installing the necessary devices at various points relative to the damaged areas of the body being repaired.
A power stand with a drive, various supports, extensions, chains and other devices are designed to transmit mechanical effects from the hydraulic cylinder to the deformed areas of the body.
Depending on the damage category and its location on the body, the car may arrive as a complete or partially disassembled stand (without front or rear suspension) or just the body.
The installation and straightening of the emergency body using the stretching method on the stand must be carried out in the following sequence:
Place the car (body) in the center of the stand. Hang the car (body) on stands using jacks and clamps installed on the power cross pipes, and secure the body by the sill stiffeners.
Secure the car body to the foundation frame using bracing devices at the support points of the power cross pipes.
Secure the spherical support (3) to the frame (1) with wedges (2).
Assemble the power stand and install it in the spherical support (3). The length of the stand is selected so that it allows the necessary tensile force to be applied. The direction of this force must coincide with the direction of impact.

Attach a clamp or some other tool to the damaged area of the body.
Connect the damaged part of the body with a chain to the foundation frame through the support of the power strut.
Correct the body by applying pressure to the power strut cylinder using a foot hydraulic pump.
To straighten the body, four power stands with chains and devices can be used simultaneously, which must have different combinations of length and be installed at different angles depending on the collisions received.
