The hydraulic devices include a set of equipment consisting of extensions D-1, D-2, D-3, respectively 200, 400, 600 mm long, and extensions D-4, D-5. D-6, 160, 360, 560 mm long. Various adapters G-2, G-3, stops B-1, B-3 or supports B-4 and B-5 are attached to the ends of the extensions using clamps B-8.
Screw devices include a set of screw jacks.
The set consists of a screw (1), a handle (2) and two bushings (3) with right and left threads, one extension of 200, 500, 600 mm and two extensions of 400 mm, adapters, clamps, various stops and clamps. These sets are used to correct distortions in the engine compartment, trunk, inside the body, along door openings. The techniques for correcting deformations using levers are shown in the figure.
If there is no access to the damaged areas, then a place is selected in the flange joints of the parts or in the joints made by spot welding, where it is possible to separate two parts and perform straightening through the resulting gap. It is permissible to make a hole directly in the deformed part or near the damaged area, through which straightening will become possible. After finishing the work, the hole should be soldered and then ground.
