Tippers (Audi 100 C4)

They are necessary for turning the vehicle into a position that ensures ease of maintenance from the bottom. Tippers are made according to different design schemes, but meet the general requirements: the vehicle must be lifted only by a mechanical device, the force on the drive of which must not exceed 150 Nm; at any height within the permissible tilt angle, reliable fixation must be ensured.

The tippers are made according to one of three design schemes.

Before tipping over the car, it is necessary to remove the battery, drain the fuel from the fuel tank, and free the trunk and interior from loose objects. After tipping over, it is necessary to insure the car with additional stops, and when treating the bottom with an anti-corrosion compound, do not forget about fire safety measures.
