Removal
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the two hoses from the oil radiator and plug their openings.
3. Disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the gearbox.
4. Hang up the engine.
5. Remove the starter (see subsection 12.1.4.1).
6. Loosen the torque converter mounting bolts to the flywheel one by one through the starter holes while turning the crankshaft.
7. Loosen the bolts securing the inner CV joints of the axle shafts.
8. Remove the exhaust pipe with the bracket.
9. Disconnect return spring 1.
10. Disconnect throttle control rod 6 from the gearbox.
11. Disconnect the gear shift cable from the gear lever.
12. Remove the oil drain pipe, first placing a container under the gearbox to collect the drained oil.
13. Loosen the nuts securing the gearbox to the front suspension
14. Raise the gearbox a little.
15. Loosen the lower bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.
16. Remove the gearbox, making sure that the torque converter does not fall out of the clutch housing.
17. Secure the torque converter in the clutch housing.
Installation

1. Install the gearbox, making sure that the torque converter remains in its seat in the clutch housing. The correct installation of the torque converter in the clutch housing is determined by the dimension a, which should be about 30 mm.
2. Tighten the lower gearbox mounting bolts to the engine.
3. Install the gearbox mounting supports to the front suspension beam.
4. Install the gearbox oil filler pipe.
5. Connect the gear shift cable to the gear lever.
6. Install the throttle control rod.
7. Install the return spring.
8. Install the exhaust pipe with bracket.
9. Connect the front wheel drives.
10. Tighten the torque converter mounting bolts to the flywheel one by one through the starter holes while turning the crankshaft.
11. Install the starter.
12. Connect the speedometer drive cable.
13. Connect the hoses to the oil radiator.
14. Add coolant to the required level.
15. Fill the gearbox with oil.
