Instrument cluster

- 1 - screw;

- 3 - instrument cluster housing;
- 4 - holder of control lamp diffusers;

- 8 - tachometer;
- 9 - hands watch;

- 11 - econometer;

- 14 - vacuum tube of the economizer
Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the steering wheel (see subsection 9.2) and steering column switches.
Models produced before January 1988.
3. Remove the two screws securing the instrument cluster.
4. Pull the instrument cluster out and disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the speedometer. If the cable is difficult to disconnect from the speedometer, first disconnect it from the gearbox.
5. Disconnect the connectors with wires from the connectors on the instrument cluster.
6. Disconnect the vacuum tube from the economizer.
7. Remove the instrument cluster.
8. Install the instrument cluster in reverse order.
Models produced since January 1988.

9. Loosen the three mounting screws (2) and remove the decorative trim (3) of the instrument cluster (1) by pulling it out.

10. Remove the screws (1) securing the instrument cluster (2).
11. Pull the instrument cluster out and disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the speedometer. If the cable is difficult to disconnect from the speedometer because the instrument cluster does not extend far enough from the instrument panel, disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the gearbox.
12. Disconnect the connectors with wires from the connectors on the instrument cluster.
13. Remove the instrument cluster.
14. Install the instrument cluster in reverse order.
