Vehicles with driver information system (FIS)
It is possible to select one of the following languages for the multifunction display messages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese. The multifunction display is factory set to German. To select the language, proceed as follows: Switch on the ignition. Enter "1" to select the "Fast data transfer" function. Enter "17" for the address word "Instrument cluster" and confirm the entry by pressing the Q button. To continue, press the "arrow" button twice. Enter "10" for the "Adaptation" function and confirm the entry by pressing the Q button. Enter "04" to select "Adaptation channel 04" and confirm the entry by pressing the Q button.
When indicated on the display: to continue, press the "arrow" button.
Display indication: Select and enter the code of the required language according to the following table.

Instructions. 8 first 4 positions enter "Q". If you enter the wrong code, the "Adaptation" function will be terminated and the process must be started over!
