Marking of the terminals of the voltage stabilizer of the instrument cluster
- 1 - «entrance» +12 V;
- 2 - «weight»;
- 3 - «exit» +10 V;
- 4 - voltage regulator
Order of execution
1. Pull the instrument cluster towards you, disconnecting only the speedometer drive cable and the vacuum tube (do not disconnect wiring harnesses) (cm. subsection 12.1.5.15 And subsection 12.1.5.15).
2. Connect wire to «negative» battery terminal.
3. Connect voltmeter to contacts «entrance» And «masses» voltage stabilizer on the back of the instrument cluster.
4. Switch on the ignition and check the voltage. It must be equal to the battery voltage. If the measured voltage is significantly lower than the battery voltage, there is an open in the power supply circuit of the stabilizer.
5. Connect voltmeter to contacts «exit» And «masses», turn on the ignition and check the voltage. It should be 9.75-10.25 V. If the measured voltage differs from the specified voltage, this means that the voltage regulator is defective and must be replaced.
6. Install instrument cluster in reverse order.
