Instrument cluster voltage stabilizer terminal markings

- 1 - "input" +12 V;
- 2 - "mass";
- 3 - "output" +10 V;
- 4 - voltage stabilizer
Execution order
1. Pull out the instrument cluster, disconnecting only the speedometer drive cable and vacuum tube (do not disconnect the pads with wires) (cm. subsection 12.1.5.15 and subsection 12.1.5.15).
2. Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Connect the voltmeter to the "input" and "ground" contacts of the voltage stabilizer on the back of the instrument cluster.
4. Turn on the ignition and check the voltage. It should be equal to the battery voltage. If the measured voltage is significantly lower than the battery voltage, there is a break in the stabilizer power supply circuit.
5. Connect a voltmeter to the "output" and "ground" contacts, turn on the ignition and check the voltage. It should be 9.75–10.25 V. If the measured voltage differs from the specified one, this means that the voltage stabilizer is faulty and must be replaced.
6. Install the instrument cluster in reverse order.
