Execution order
1. Open the trunk and remove the floor mat.
2. Remove three screws and remove the hatch cover to gain access to the fuel level sensor.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the fuel level sensor.
4. Install an additional resistor with a resistance of 544 Ohm between the connector contacts. In this case, the fuel gauge needle in the instrument cluster should be at the beginning of the scale (empty tank).
5. Replace the additional resistor with an additional 60 ohm resistor.
In this case, the instrument arrow should move to the end of the scale (full tank).
6. Both extreme positions of the arrow are indicated on the scale by two dots (instrument error). The arrow should be between the dots at the beginning and end of the scale.
7. If this does not happen, you need to adjust the position of the arrow with the screw located under the dial of the device. If the pointer cannot be adjusted, it must be replaced.
