1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove a steering wheel, remove the combined switch of a steering column and the panel of devices.
3. Where necessary, remove the trim and air duct under the panel to gain access to the flanged pipe/steering column connection.
4. Loosen the clamp securing the flange tube to the steering gear, move the flange tube up to separate it from the steering column.
5. Remove the shear bolt securing the ignition switch/steering column lock. Access is only possible through the dashboard opening. Open the ignition switch/steering column lock cover.
6. Turn off nuts, remove the bolts fixing clips of a column of a steering to a safety suspension bracket.
7. Remove column tube, clamp and steering column up.
8. Remove the column from the pipe, release the pipe from the clamp.
9. Check the condition of the dispenser components, especially the bottom dispenser bushings and the holder bushings inside the dispenser tube. The lower column bushings can be removed and installed by hand.
10. Assembly and installation are carried out in the reverse order.
