Install cylinder (1) at TDC by rotating the crankshaft until the TDC mark on the flywheel matches (FROM) and tide on the clutch housing, as well as marks on the gear wheel of the injector pump and bracket.
Verification conditions:
- The cold start accelerator button must not be pulled out.
- Timing belt tension should be correct.
Loosen the locking screw on the cover of the injector pump.
Screw in the indicator instead of the plug until the arrow starts to move. Set the indicator needle to 0. Then insert the indicator further until its reading is 2.mm. Slowly rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise until the indicator pointer stops moving. Set indicator to 0.
Rotate the crankshaft in the direction of the engine until the TDC on the flywheel matches the corresponding mark on the clutch housing.
Attention. If the measured value is within tolerance, no setting is required.
To install, loosen the bracket mounting bolts and the rear stop mounting bolt.
Loosen the bottom mounting bolt of the bracket from the front through the hole in the gear wheel of the injector pump.
Move the injection pump using a suitable lever or pry bar.
Remove the hour indicator and tighten the plug on the pump cover.
Attention. The plug gasket needs to be replaced every time. Tightening torque - 15 Nm. With a loose fit, tightening with a torque of 25 Nm is allowed.
Screw in the TDC indicator hole plug.
