Moisture removal
Place a container to collect accumulated water.
Loosen the bleeder screw one turn (arrow above) and drain plug (down arrow).
Drain approximately 10 cm3 of liquid.
Attention: A large amount of water may indicate that the deaeration hoses have become porous. Clean all black vent hoses on the tank and check by slightly bending and twisting them. Replace porous hoses with cloth-reinforced hoses.
Tighten the bleed screw and drain plug.
Replacement
Use an oil filter wrench or a leather strap to remove the filter.
Lubricate the outer rubber sealing ring of the new filter with diesel fuel.
Screw in the filter and tighten by hand.
Start the engine. Give gas several times; When the engine is idling, the fuel must flow bubble-free through the transparent hose.
Check the fuel system for leaks.
