Table of contents: Moisture removal ↓ Replacement ↓
In order for the car engine to work perfectly, it is necessary to remove moisture from the fuel filter every 500 km and replace this fuel filter every 300 km.
Moisture removal
Place a container underneath to collect the accumulated water.

Loosen the air bleed screw one turn (arrow up) and a threaded drain plug (arrow down).
Drain approximately 10 cm³ of liquid.
Caution: Large amounts of water may indicate that the bleed hoses have become porous. Clean all black bleed hoses on the tank and check by slightly bending and twisting them. Replace porous hoses with fabric-reinforced hoses.
Tighten the air bleed screw and drain plug.
Replacement
To remove the filter, use an oil filter wrench or a leather belt.
Lubricate the outer rubber sealing ring of the new filter with diesel fuel.
Screw in the filter and tighten by hand.
Start the engine. Give it gas several times; fuel should flow through the transparent hose without bubbles when the engine is idling.
Check the fuel system for leaks.
