Both calipers are reinforced with so-called ribbed bolts. This bolt has a fine splined surface behind the hex head that holds the bolt in place after tightening i.e. it will not loosen on its own. Never replace these bolts with others. Because these bolts can be reused, their splined surface must be well cleaned.
Put the car in front on stands and remove the wheel.
Remove the brake pads as described above and secure the caliper with a piece of wire. You can also remove the hose from the caliper if it needs to be replaced.
Unscrew the bolts at the top and bottom of the inside of the caliper carrier and remove the carrier.
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. Insert the brake pads according to the instructions for the caliper. After completing the work, bleed the air from the brake system.
