Removal and installation the gear shift lever (type I) (Audi 100 C3)

Execution order

1. Disconnect the rear rod 28 (see Fig. Gear shift control mechanism (Type I)) from gear shift lever 11, for which unscrew nut 5 and remove bolt 10.

2. Unscrew four bolts 20.

3. Remove the gear shift lever assembly.

4. Install the gear shift lever in reverse order.
