Numbers of contacts of the connecting block of the control unit
Order of execution
1. Disconnect the black connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the contacts with an ohmmeter «1» And «2». It should be about 1 kOhm. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the ignition timing sensor.
3. Then measure the resistance between the contacts «1» And «3», «2» And «3». The ohmmeter should show zero in both cases. If the ohmmeter shows any resistance, replace the ignition timing sensor.
4. Remove the upholstery under the instrument panel on the right, under which the control unit is installed.
5. Disconnect the connector block from the block and check the wiring between the ignition timing sensor block and the block of the control unit.
6. To do this, you need to measure the resistance between the contacts «1» And «13», then between contacts «2» And «12» and finally between «3» And «28» (see fig. Numbers of contacts of the connecting block of the control unit).
7. In all cases, the ohmmeter should show zero. If the ohmmeter shows any resistance, then there is a break in the wiring.
