Control unit junction block contact numbers

Execution order

1. Disconnect the black connector.

2. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance between contacts "1" and "2". It should be approximately 1 kOhm. If the resistance differs from the specified value, the ignition timing sensor must be replaced.
3. Then measure the resistance between contacts "1" and "3", "2" and "3". The ohmmeter should show zero in both cases. If the ohmmeter shows any resistance, replace the ignition timing sensor.
4. Remove the trim under the instrument panel on the right, under which the control unit is installed.
5. Disconnect the junction block from the unit and check the wiring between the ignition timing sensor block and the control unit block.

6. To do this, you need to measure the resistance between contacts "1" and "13", then between contacts "2" and "12" and, finally, between "3" and "28" (see Fig. Control unit junction block contact numbers).
7. In all cases, the ohmmeter should show zero. If the ohmmeter shows any resistance, then there is a break in the wiring.
