Every day before leaving the garage, check:
1. Air pressure in tires and, if necessary, bring to normal.
2. Oil level in the crankcase. It must be between the min and max labels on the pointer (dipstick) oil level. If the level is below the min mark, add oil to the engine. Top up with oil of the same brand that is poured into the crankcase. Make sure that the oil level in the crankcase stays near the max mark. Do not fill oil above the max mark: this will lead to increased oil consumption.
3. Liquid level in the engine cooling system. The coolant level should be near the mark on the expansion tank. If necessary, add coolant to the expansion tank.
4. Brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir. It must be above the min label. If necessary, add fluid to the reservoir up to the max.
5. Inspect the hoses and tubes of the power supply, cooling and lubrication systems of the engine. There should be no leakage of fuel, coolant and oil. If there are signs of leakage, tighten the hose clamps.
6. Serviceability of the service brake system and parking brake.
7. Serviceability of instrumentation, wiper, windshield washer, headlights, direction indicators and rear lights. This test is carried out with the engine running.
