Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the electrical wires from the generator terminals, having previously marked them.
3. Loosen the tightening of the generator mounting bolts to the bracket and adjusting bar and the adjusting bar mounting bolt.
4. Rotate the alternator toward the engine block to relieve belt tension.
5. Remove the alternator belt.
6. Loosen the upper and lower generator mounting bolts.
7. Remove the generator.
8. Install the generator in the reverse order. Then adjust the drive belt tension (see subsection 12.1.3.4). Tighten the bolts securing the adjusting bar and the generator to the adjusting bar to a torque of 20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m), and the bolt securing the generator to the bracket to a torque of 30 N·m (3.0 kgf·m).
