Installation
Install the gearbox in the reverse order of removal. When installing the engine and gearbox mount brackets and the exhaust pipe, do not apply excessive force to avoid subjecting the parts to excessive mechanical loads. Adjust the gearshift control mechanism if necessary. Install the gearbox taking into account the following:
- clean and lubricate the splines of the primary shaft with anti-friction paste such as Moly;
- when installing the gearbox in place, the front wheel drive shafts must be located on the front subframe;
- after installing the gearbox, do not forget to tighten the lower bolts securing the gearbox to the engine block.
