Removal and installation the clutch release bearing (Audi 100 C3)

Removal and installation of the clutch release bearing for a clutch with a hydraulic drive is performed in the same way as for a clutch with a mechanical drive.

Installing the clutch release bearing

Apply grease to the fork bearing surfaces and spacers.

Compress the locking spring until it stops after installing the fork.

Place the clutch release bearing against the fork at an angle of 45° relative to the bearing's final operating position.

Install the bearing into the seat by turning it.
