To adjust the ignition timing, a stroboscope and a control tachometer are used.
Connect the stroboscope and tachometer according to the operating instructions.
Start the engine, leave it to idle. Aim a flashing strobe light into the clutch housing hatch. If the ignition timing is set correctly, then the alignment mark on the flywheel should be opposite the protrusion on the clutch cover. To adjust the ignition timing, loosen the lock nut of the distributor sensor flange and, turning the distributor sensor housing, achieve the alignment of the marks.
Tighten the lock nut of the ignition distributor flange.
