The regulator is controlled by a sliding contact and a key located on the turn signal lever.
Programmable speed controller: A - sliding contact; B — regulator on/off key
To activate the speed controller, set the sliding contact "A" (see photo) opposite the inscription "EIN". Once the desired speed is reached, to maintain it, it is sufficient to briefly press the button "B" on the end of the turn signal lever, then remove your foot from the accelerator pedal.
If you need to increase the speed of movement, simply press the "B" key and hold it down until the desired speed is reached.
If the speed increase is achieved by pressing the accelerator pedal, the previously programmed speed will be restored when the accelerator pedal is released.
When the brake pedal or clutch pedal is pressed, the regulator is temporarily switched off. Switching off of the regulator also occurs when the sliding contact is moved to the right, without passing the point of more rigid resistance. The previously programmed speed is saved in memory in these cases, and to restore it, it is enough to move the sliding contact "A" to the stop to the left opposite the inscription "AUFN" and release the brake or clutch pedal beforehand.
The speed controller is completely switched off when the sliding contact is moved to the right until it stops at the "AUS" position or when the ignition is turned off.
Note: On vehicles with automatic transmission, the programmable cruise control is only activated when the selector lever is in the "D" and "2" positions.
